BOLLYWOOD

Dancer/Teacher: Diana Rego

Musicians: Marc Planells – Sitar and Vocals/Francisco Cabral – Tabla

This is the highly characteristic dance of Indian cinema. Flamboyant, sensual, adrenaline-filled and with wonderful body movements, emphasising the moves which arise from a fusion of various Indian dance styles and some Western ones. The music is infectious, encouraging dance and movement. One aspect worked on is the quick pace of the choreographies, which improve physical stamina and coordination skills, as well as the strong expressiveness of the body and facial movements.
