Resilience. Hope. Community. The role of art is to promote meaningful dialogue on the important social, political and environmental challenges facing the world today. Race and class conflicts, the climate emergency and the pandemic caused by COVID-19 are some of the global crises that contemporary artists are exploring. How can new knowledge be used as a tool for critical reflection and, ultimately, for collective change? In 2022, FUSO wants to focus on how art can be a gesture of resilience and hope.
