The great success that LISBON UNDER STARS enjoyed with the public means it’s returning to the Ruins of the Convento do Carmo. The ruin walls will once again be transformed into three-dimensional screens, where there’ll be a mixture of multimedia projections, virtual dancers and visual effects. The narration of this historical journey will be provided by Catarina Furtado, with special contributions from some of Portuguese culture’s greatest names, including Amália Rodrigues and Salvador Sobral, amongst many, many others. The ruins of the Igreja do Carmo will again be turned into a time machine which transports the public on a journey through more than 600 years of Lisbon’s history.
