In june, São Luiz theater presents a comprehensive program, which includes shows for
youngsters and a lot of music: a jazz concertof young musicians, the presentation of fado singer Mísia’s new work and two plays in which the the main role is female.

António Jorge Gonçalves’ stage adaptation of Ondjaki’s O Convidador de Pirilampos, a book he himself illustrated. Narrated by Cláudia Semedo, with José Conde accompanying on clarinet, this play addresses the themes of fear of the dark, freedom and the importance of stories. With all the scenic magic of the dark.
