TITO PARIS with CREMILDA MEDINA, JOANA AMENDOEIRA, PAULO GONZO and DJODJE

The 2022 Festas de Lisboa will get underway to the sound of Tito Paris, a central figure in Cape Verdean music. Celebrating 40 years in the business, the artist will be joined onstage by singers Paulo Gonzo, Cremilda Medina, Joana Amendoeira and Djodje at the Torre de Belém.

Born in Mindelo, Cape Verde, on 30 May 1963, Tito Paris is a Lisbon-based Cape Verdean musician, composer and singer, who began his career writing for artists such as Bana and Cesária Évora. In 1996, "Graça de Tchega", his third album of originals, brought him international acclaim and turned him into an ambassador of his country's music.
