The period from 1st to 13th June is a special one in Lisbon, with the celebration of the Trezena to Saint Anthony.

This is a religious festival whose origins date back to the miracle performed by the Saint after a devout woman prayed to him insistently, an example followed by others which rapidly became common practice. This festival extends across the rest of the month and will be complemented by the cultural programme that the Museu de Lisboa – Santo António is organising in partnership with Festas de Lisboa.
