New Year’s Party at Terreiro do Paço

From 29th to New Year's Eve we offer you three nights of free concerts, from traditional to classical music, including some of the new artists that are setting the rhythm in Portugal

Praça do Comércio is once again the place to go to celebrate the coming of a New Year.

DJ, producer and founder of Buraka Som Sistema, Branko, is the star of the first night, 29, and brings along with him names like Carlão, Sara Tavares, Dino D’Santiago and Cachupa Psicadélica. Before Branko's performance, at 9.30pm, PEDRO will set the pace with a DJ set.

Sunday (30), Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa will take to the stage also at 9.30pm to perform themes by composers like Beethoven, Puccini or Verdi, conducted by Maestro Pedro Amaral and with the special appearances of tenor Carlos Guilherme and soprano Elisabete Matos.

With this we arrive at December 31st, the most expected of all the nights. The event starts at 10 pm with traditional Portuguese music by Daniel Pereira Cristo and Tatanka, João Só and Ana Bacalhau. At midnight we'll have the awaited fireworks, and the party will then go on through the night with Lisboa, by Richie Campbell. The musician will share the stage with Dengaz, Mishlawi, Plutonio and DJ Dadda.
